Brescia University Men’s tennis dropped their conference opener to IU Southeast 5-4 in Louisville. The Bearcats led 2-1 after the doubles with wins from Barrett Smith/Jan Dombrowski and Alex Bumm/Jacob Blevins.

Tanguy Montoisy Named KIAC Player of the Year
Brescia University Men's tennis player Tanguy Montoisy was named KIAC Conference Player of the year at the conclusion of the 2009 KIAC tennis championships on April 25, 2009.
Montoisy, a freshman from Ottignies, Belgium, compiled an overall record of 24-5, including going undefeated in conference play.

The Brescia University Men's tennis team, co-champions of the KIAC regular season, fell 5-3 to IU Southeast on April 25, 2009 in the conference championship match. Brescia and IU Southeast split their regular season matches this season.
