Softball Picked Third in KIAC Pre-Season Poll
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (February 7th, 2010) – The 2010 Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Preseason Baseball and Softball Polls were released this week.
Lady Bearcats sweep
Brescia won a pair of softball games at Midway College -- 2-1 in the opener and 6-3 in the nightcap.
In the first game, Lacey Kelly went 2-for-4 and Emily Gerteisen fired a five-hitter to pace Brescia.
Lady Bearcats Split Twin Bill
Amanda Kermode had a home run and a double to help lead Brescia University to a 7-1 win over Midway on Saturday at Kamuf Park. Brescia lost the second game 9-1.
Brescia and Berea split doubleheader
Emily Gerteisen threw a second-game shutout as the Lady Bearcats (5-7) were able to preserve a split at Kamuf Park.
