Valerie Kamuf ended her Brescia women’s soccer career with a milestone achievement. At the completion of the 2009 season, the senior defender was recognized as an NAIA Honorable Mention All-American, the first in program history.
Brescia Forward, Overton, Named NAIA Academic All American
Brescia University Senior Forward, Katie Overton, has been named to the 2009 NAIA Academic All American team for her outstanding work in the classroom. Overton, from Henderson, Kentucky, was named Academic All American by maintaining a grade point average of 3.5 or better through her senior year.

Brescia University women’s soccer defeats Mountain State University 8-0. Brescia came out strong Friday night scoring in the first minute of the game on Claudine Whitter’s goal. The goal was assisted by Violet Maka and Nikkita English
Bearcats Defeat Berea College
The Brescia University women’s soccer team defeated Berea College in their KIAC opener.
Tara Dance scored her first collegiate goal in the 73rd minute of the game to give the lady bearcats a one nothing lead. Hannah Ison recorded the assist on Dance’s goal.
Bearcats Fall to Trevecca Nazarene 4-3 in Home Opener
The Brescia University women's soccer team lost to Trevecca Nazarene University 4-3.
At the five minute mark Jackie Durbin of Brescia scored the first goal of the game. The goal was assisted by Claudine Witter and Shannon Gaston. Trevecca fired back in the 17th minute with a goal from Kassie Evick to tie the game.
